Early season shakedown cruises are an essential part of making sure the boat is ready for the season. More importantly, these trips are an opportunity to get on the water with friends and explore. This trip I was joined by Matt and Chris on the Moore Reservior in Littleton, NH. We planned to target pike but as the day progressed our sites were focused on any fish that would bite! Water temps hovered around 50 degrees and a heavy overcast did not allow much light to penetrate the water. We fished hard but also took the time to explore tributary streams that flowed from the surrounding hills.
